The Community Assistant is a front desk position and serves as the first point of contact for residents, prospective residents, guarantors and vendors. Community Assistants should be able to work independently, efficiently, be friendly and able to provide helpful service to all they encounter.
Responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:
Being present and available at the front desk to answer phone calls, assist residents with move-in questions, maintenance requests, package notifications, deliveries and lockouts
Communicating effectively with residents and prospective residents via different methods on a wide variety of issues - including maintenance requests, leasing or payment questions and general customer service concerns
Keeping resident data software updated with notes about all prospective residents and current residents communication
Assisting with planning and hosting resident events
Taking inventory and maintaining supplies necessary for operating efficiency of building
Helping with applications, leasing, move-in and move-out processes
A valid driver's license and vehicle in Amherst are required for this position.
